Program Description: Leave No Weeds is an educational program sponsored by city, county, state, and federal land management agencies that focus on the
environmental effects, control, and management of noxious weeds with an emphasis on Integrated Weed Management concepts. The Leave No Weeds program begins with a classroom
slide presentation, followed by an outdoor field trip. This program in Missoula County is targeted for a 5th grade audience.
Field Trips: Students are taken by bus to public wild lands in Missoula and the surrounding areas. Field trips activities include a nature hike to identify native plants
and noxious weeds, a weed pulling station and a biocontrol activity.
Funding for bus transportation is available!
