The Montana County Weed Control Act §MCA 7-22-2152 requires anyone disturbing vegetation in a public right-of-way to prepare and obtain an approved Revegetation Plan from the Missoula County Weed District for all disturbed areas.

The Missoula County Public Works Department and the Office of Planning and Grants requires an approved Revegetation Plan or letter of exemption by the Weed District for final subdivision plat approval.
