In 4-H, youth have the opportunity to:
- Learn how to get along with others
- Be part of a team
- Accept responsibility for choices http://missoulaeduplace.org/docs/4-H-Clubs.pdf made
- Build self confidence
400-plus youth participate in the Missoula County 4-H program. Every 4-H member belongs to a 4-H Club, and there are 16 Clubs to choose from in Missoula County. There is no limit to the number of clubs operating, so new clubs can be formed as well.
4-H clubs have regular meetings at which Parliamentary Procedure is practiced, community service projects are organized and accomplished, fundraising skills learned, and fund social events are held.
4-H youth must be 8 years of age at the start of the 4-H year (October 1st). A variety of project areas are available. Please refer to The Clover for details.
