The Missoula County Weed District and Extension service is launching a monthly education series called Blooms and Brews. This series will feature expert speakers on various topics related to gardening and our natural world. On Tuesday, May 17th from 6-8 p.m. please join Habitat Coordinator, Marirose Kuhlman who will present on Creating Bee Lawns. Marirose will talk through why you should create or enhance your lawns into important habitats for pollinators. Donations to this series will go towards the creation and maintenance of the 2.5-acre educational gardens that will be adjoining the newly constructed Rocky Mountain Gardens and Exploration Center at the Missoula Fairgrounds, which will be home to the Missoula County Weed District & Extension, the Missoula Butterfly House & Insectarium and the Missoula Conservation District. $5 admission includes 2 drink tickets.
