Understanding Soil Carbon
An Introduction to the Carbon Cycle, Carbon Markets, and Building Soil Carbon with Restoration and Regenerative Grazing

Researcher, MPG Ranch
Morgan will present an overview of carbon cycling and discuss her work studying the impacts of common grassland plant invaders and rangeland restoration and management on carbon storage in soils.
Chris Mehus
Program Director, Western Sustainability Exchange
Chris will discuss the challenges, obstacles, and benefits of regenerative grazing, carbon markets, and how private funding can be used to install important infrastructure.
