 \nHe also runs Nourishing Roots Farm\, a seed farm and nursery dedicated t
 o investigating resilient plants from around the world and providing them 
 to gardeners. Inspired by the way that landscapes shape culture and vice v
 ersa\, Michael seeks knowledge from teachers and ecosystems alike to culti
 vate true landscape-literacy. Via farming\, teaching\, seed stewardship\, 
 and Earthworks he fosters good relations between people and place.\n\n'By 
 seeking and sharing skills we all become more empowered to live as extensi
 ons of the lands we dwell on.'\n
