 n will be teaching edible ornamentals and how to use perennial vegetables 
 in the landscape and kitchen.  Topics will include culinary use\, propagat
 ion\, the history and the value of edible perennials in our food systems. 
  Expect taste tests as well as demonstrations of essential tools and techn
 iques used to manage and harvest perennial veggies.  The class will be out
 side where we can interact with some of the perennial vegetables planted i

 nstructor- MICHAEL BILLINGTON\nBorn in Montana\, Michael lives on his farm
  near Flathead Lake with his wise wife and playful daughter. He operates T
 he Native Seed Foundation\, a company that has aided thousands of acres of
  land rehabilitation efforts by gathering and providing native seeds.\n\nH
 e also runs Nourishing Roots Farm\, a seed farm and nursery dedicated to i
 nvestigating resilient plants from around the world and providing them to 
 gardeners. Inspired by the way that landscapes shape culture and vice vers
 a\, Michael seeks knowledge from teachers and ecosystems alike to cultivat
 e true landscape-literacy. Via farming\, teaching\, seed stewardship\, and
  Earthworks he fosters good relations between people and place.\n\nPlease 
 note\, we do not offer refunds for classes/events. Refunds may be issued i
 f the event is rescheduled or cancelled\, in which case we will reach out
