Workshop 3 of 4: Resilient Homes Tour with Climate Smart Missoula
Session three of the Home Upgrade Hub's Planning a Home Energy Efficiency Retrofit series allows you to see how Missoulians are embracing home resilience!
From adding solar and electrifying, to embracing resilient landscaping practices and creating defensible space against wildfire, there are lots of ways your home can be a climate solution! This is a great opportunity to learn what neighbors are doing to improve home health and comfort, while decreasing pollution.
This year's tour will feature:
- Solar
- Induction cooking
- Heat pump heating and cooling systems
- Heat pump water heater
- Energy-efficient & weatherized homes
- Resilient landscaping and soil recovery
- Wildfire defensible space best practices
We'll tour three homes on Saturday, May 16, 2026 in the Target Range neighborhood from 2PM to 4PM, followed by an (optional) networking happy hour with homeowners, contractors, lenders and local government reps. More details to come!
Note: This tour offers both a biking and carpooling option, as homes are located within 1 mile of each other.
