A happy starter makes for a spectacular loaf.

Join Andy Brown to learn the basics of caring for your sourdough starter. Learn how to start a starter, feed it, store it, and what it even is to begin with!

All experience levels welcome! Whether you're making your first foray into the world of sourdough, or you're a seasoned veteran, this workshop is sure to add to your skillset!

Guest Chef Andy Brown has been baking with sourdough, both professionally and at home, for decades. Raised in the mountains surrounding Livingston, Andy moved to Missoula to attend university and study art. Graduating with a BFA left him qualified for the food service industry. Fortunately he chose the path of a baker. Currently he loves nothing more than spoiling his two wild children, neighbors, and friends with a constant, wide assortment of baked goods.

DATE: Thursday, March 12
TIME: 6 - 8 pm
LOCATION: Honeyberry Culinary Classroom, 2nd floor of the Exploration Center
COST: $15

NOTE: This is the first of two sourdough workshops led by Andy. Check out Baking With Sourdough, Saturday March 28, by clicking the link below.
