As a Garden Specialist, you will receive specific training so that you can operate independently of group volunteer events.
Specialty areas include:
- Tomatoes
- transplanting, pruning, trellising, harvesting, etc.
- Dahlias
- planting, disbudding, harvesting, etc.
- Native Plantings
- weeding & maintaining the Native Prairie & Crevice Garden
- Greenhouse
- propagation and other greenhouse tasks
- Annual Flowers
- transplanting, weeding, dead-heading, etc. in our Beautiful Blooms garden
- Saturday Garden Attendants
- an alternative to the more laborious volunteer opportunities!
