Plant the Native Prairie with Great Bear Native Plants
Our native prairie reflects the biodiversity of the Missoula Valley prior to development. Designed with Aimee Kelley of Great Bear Native Plants, this space is taking on a slow transformation into a natural and ever-changing landscape.
Join Aimee and her team to continue filling in the Native Prairie! Plants include species grown by Great Bear Native Plants, as well as bunchgrass salvaged from a local site undergoing development.
Join us anytime between 9 am and noon to lend a hand.
This project would not be possible without the help of volunteers. The purpose of this garden is to offer hands-on educational opportunities and a diverse, beautiful landscape for the public to enjoy.
Children are welcome with an adult.
