Ravalli and Missoula County Extension offices welcome you to a discussion of what classifies as agricultural land for tax purposes. Representatives from Montana Department of Revenue will join your MSU Extension Agents to describe the "Montana Agricultural Land Classification and Valuation Manual 2025 -2026" recently released by the Property Assessment Division. They will step you through interpretation of the laws, the process for application, and valuation of your property's agricultural production. Fruit trees, vegetable gardens, timber, equestrian activities, livestock, hay growing and more will be discussed!
