Workshop: Native Plant Propagation

Class description:

Are you curious about what it takes to grow native plants from seed? Spoiler alert – anyone can do it!

In this lecture/workshop, you’ll learn the basics of seed sowing, and the special techniques needed to germinate native seeds, including seed treatments like stratification and scarification.

Molly Anton, Rocky Mountain Gardens Coordinator, will guide you through the process step-by-step, from preparing seeds to planting and nurturing your seedlings. After you practice these techniques at the event, you'll have the opportunity to take home your own sown seeds to grow!

Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to grow their skillset, this event will give you the tools you need to propagate native plants.
