Preregistration: Sheep & Goat Grazing Workshop
Due to high interest in a Missoula County Sheep & Goat Grazing Workshop, MSU Extension will be collecting names and contact info of interested parties here. Registering on the link here does NOT register you for the workshop, but will ensure that you receive first right of refusal to join the workshop when more information is released. The workshop is designed for those new to managing land on livestock in Montana. Whether you are new to the area, new to sheep and goats, or BOTH, this workshop is a must.
Topics that are being considered for this event include...
- choosing the right breed of sheep or goat for your property
- predator mitigation
- fencing considerations
- rotational grazing systems
- sheep and goats as weed control or wildfire mitigation
