Help us with the process of saving our dahlia's for next year!

Dahlias cannot be left in the ground to overwinter in Missoula's climate. For this reason, we dig up the tubers before the ground freezes. From there they are washed, divided, and stored in a cool, dry place where they will b protected from the elements and ready to plant come springtime.

Volunteering in the gardens offers a hands-on educational opportunity. Work alongside our experienced staff and familiarize yourself with the vast variety of plant species and garden styles within this beautiful space.

Children are welcome with an adult.
