Wander, wonder, and enjoy.

With over 20 distinct growing areas, Rocky Mountain Gardens provides the ideal setting for teaching, learning, and growing.

Our gardens showcase the diversity of plants and gardening styles suitable for our region. They include rose, pollinator, medicinal herb, native prairie, sensory, forest, vegetable, ornamental, and waterwise garden beds, as well as a fruit tree and berry orchard.

A four-season greenhouse allows us to grow plants from seed and provides endless opportunities for public education. In the near future, a hoop house will act as a demonstration space for season extension crops.

Rocky Mountain Gardens are designed for education and contemplation. The Exploration Courtyard, outdoor classroom, and drought tolerant lawn areas provide spaces to gather, participate in a class, or take in the beautiful scenery.
