Volunteer Orientation

Volunteer orientation details

Volunteers are what make this garden possible. If you are curious about volunteering with us but don't know where to start, join us for a volunteer orientation!

Orientations will occur at the following times:
Thursday, May 14, 10 am - noon
Saturday, May 16, 10 am - noon

Orientations will include:
-Tour of Rocky Mountain Gardens
-Discussion of Garden’s mission & vision
-Overview of volunteer opportunities (there are many!)
-Introduction to tools used by volunteers

Whether you've never stepped foot within the garden gates or you've been volunteering with us since the beginning, you're invited! All we ask is that you dress for the weather and, if you're interested in testing out some tools, wear closed-toed shoes.

*****

Our volunteers experience a hands-on educational opportunity in this beautiful public space. Work alongside our expert staff, and familiarize yourself with the vast variety of plantings the gardens have to offer.

Volunteering in the gardens is available to people of all experience levels and abilities. We also encourage children to participate, so long as a caretaker is available to guide them!
