Garden Walk: Perennial Vegetables
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
WHAT ARE EDIMENTALS? Michael will be teaching edible ornamentals and how to use perennial vegetables in the landscape and kitchen. Topics will include culinary use, propagation, the history and the value of edible perennials in our food systems. Expect taste tests as well as demonstrations of essential tools and techniques used to manage and harvest perennial veggies. The class will be outside where we can interact with some of the perennial vegetables planted in the garden at the Rocky Mountain Gardens.
These "walks" prioritize accessibility for all participants by following the main, paved garden pathways.
