The Weed District and Extension works collaboratively to provide programs that will cultivate leadership, build confidence and expand knowledge through hands-on, interactive educational activities to enhance the understanding of the surrounding working landscape.
This program gets students outside, introduces them to local ecosystems, teaches students plant identification skills and integrated weed management practices, as well as, the importance of participating in stewardship projects.
