Fruit Tree Grafting

Join us on Saturday, April 12, for a hands-on workshop led by James Sapp of Sapp's Permaculture Orchard.
What is grafting?
The process of joining two plant parts together to create a new fruit tree with desired characteristics.
Topics will include:
- Selecting rootstock
- Choosing scion varieties
- Proper knife use
- Care of newly grafted trees.
Supplies will be provided, including grafting knives, grafting tape & sealant, additional wood for practice, and apple scion wood to take home.
Grafting knives available for PURCHASE IN ADVANCE for an additional $25.
