Photography
Visitors to Rocky Mountain Gardens are welcome to photograph and video the plants and gardens for personal use. Professional, commercial, portrait, and group photography and videography are permitted under the following conditions:
- Approval by Rocky Mountain Gardens staff
- Payment of a $75 non-refundable user fee
Sessions must be approved and scheduled in order to avoid conflict with other Garden programs. Requests must be made no less than a week in advance of the desired date of use.

Rocky Mountain Gardens reserves the right to deny photo and video requests.
Private Events
Rental of Rocky Mountain Gardens for private events including weddings, birthdays, and holiday parties are are not permitted.
For groups interested in Garden access while utilizing the Balsamroot Conference Room or other Exploration Center facilities, please complete the form at the bottom of this page.
Public & Partner Events
Rocky Mountain Gardens are available to public and partner groups during open hours.
Monday - Friday, 9 - 5
Saturday, 10 - 5
Closed Sunday
The Gardens are open early spring through late fall, depending on the weather.
