Missoula 4-H

To Make The Best Better

Youth are given many opportunities when they join 4-H. They learn how to become leaders, how to get along with others, and how to work in a team setting. They gain an understanding of accepting responsibility for the choices they make. These youth make an impact on their communities, all while building self-confidence and resiliency.

Join Missoula County 4-H Today!

Over 400 youth participate in the Missoula County 4-H program each year. 4-H members, and their families, belong to one of the 16 area 4-H clubs. Members can select the club they would like to join, based on varying criteria. All the clubs have regular meetings, at which Parliamentary procedures are practiced, community service projects are organized and accomplished, fundraising skills are learned, and social events are held.

4-H youth must be 8 years old at the start of the 4-H year (October 1st). There are a wide variety of projects to select from. And there are also pre 4-H opportunities for youth 5 to 7 years old.
